About PTS

Current Situation

Currently the school Report Book is the main source by which parents can monitor and track their child's academic performance.

The Report Book records the student's performance in Term 1 (CA1); Mid-Term (SA1); Term 3 (CA2) and Final Term (SA2).

In between the reporting of these four crucial results, parents may have some idea of their child's academic performance from the test papers that are returned but not a complete picture of how the child is progressing.

This often leads to cases of too-little-too-late - if only remedial action was taken to help the child before he took the exams.

The Answer - The Performance Tracking System

The PTS aims to fill this gap - by displaying online the results obtained by each student for the weekly/monthly test(s) which are conducted regularly by their teachers. The marks awarded by teachers for book reviews, assignments, project work or folio work can also be displayed.

This will mean that parents can now track the overall performance of their child on a regular basis and monitor his progress consistently, resulting in early remedial action to help improve his weaker subjects.

Features

Individual Subject Tests

Now you can view the results of your child in each of his tests, assignments and project/folio work throughout the year.

Test Statistics

Statistics displayed - besides your child's score - include the lowest score, highest score and mean score for each test. This gives a truer indication and more accurate benchmark of your child's standard vis-à-vis his peers in school.

The most recent result will be displayed at the top of the screen for quick reference.
